Y’all, change of command ceremonies are usually held in some uninteresting places like a parade deck (read: open field). Sometimes there’s a great back drop as with 9th ESB where their 7 tons and other vehicles were set up and displaying a massive American flag.
If you’re really lucky (not) and there’s weather, you get a yellow gym with blue plastic laid out. White balance nightmare!
But this one takes the cake! Third Recon on Camp Schwab has a view! A view of the brilliant blue Pacific Ocean. Its hands down my favorite military ceremony e-v-e-r. Light is everything y’all.
If you’re wanting a photographer for any military related ceremony – promotion, retirement, change of command, contact me and let’s see what we can do. 🙂
