Our #frontporchproject on Quantico!
IT DID IT!! I’m running across the metaphoric finish line not just because we actually completed the #frontporchproject, but that I’m actually done editing!
Hold that that thought.
As I type this, ready to run my victory lap, I realize I have ONE MORE shot I haven’t even started to edit!
<insert 3 MORE days to actually finish… joking… sort of. >
Its been a solid
10 or 11 days 2 weeks since we took these photos.
I’ve completely underestimated the time suck that is all 6 of us altogether. Even as a seasoned homeschool parent! I foolishly thought this would be a breeze.
I keep repeating this quote I saw on Instagram to myself. We all need a lot of breathing room!
Base living is how I imagine a 1950’s community would have been. We pick up stuff from the commissary for each other, share meals, babysitters, and Friday nights.
There’s 30 elementary kids at our bus stop and another 20-30 middle and high schoolers. On two VERY short streets!
Here are the cool cats and kittens I get to call neighbors and friends!
My fam even makes an appearance! Thank you Monique for helping me out! 😀I (Alison) am the circus ring leader of four boys. We're a half-homeschooling USMC family, currently in Virginia. I love loud, messy, families, especially those with littles. I like dancing, loud music, and people! I'm passionate about education and the beach. Born and raised in Charleston, SC I'm a cornbread purist. Skillet only! Find me on Insta @alisonbellphotog!
